As the threat of COVID-19 continues, we have made additional changes to protect the health of our employees and our clients while we continue to deliver care to pets in our community. We want to be sure you are aware of these new policies that are effective immediately.
Our hours have changed:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 – 5:30
Tuesday, Thursday 8:30 – 6:00
Saturday 8:30 – 1:00
Thank you for supporting curbside service for appointments and food/medicine pickup. Your cooperation has been key in our ability to continue to see sick pets while minimizing the spread of Covid-19.
Please be aware that for your safety and that of our technicians and veterinarians, our staff are not allowed to enter your car to remove animals or carriers. We kindly ask that you take your pet or carrier out of the car so that our veterinary staff can bring the pet into the hospital.
For prescription refills and food, we encourage our clients to use our online pharmacy which can be reached via our web site home page. If you prefer not to use the online pharmacy, we can leave medications and food outside once you are on your way to the hospital.
While we accept cash and checks, during this time we ask that you pay with a credit card via telephone to minimize passing items back and forth when you pay.
As a reminder, when visiting Newbury Animal Hospital, please follow CDC guidelines for personal health and hygiene:
When possible, maintain a safe social distance (6 feet) between yourself and others and abstain from shaking hands.
Sanitize pet-related paraphernalia as needed, such as leashes or carrier handles.
